Breaking The Cycle Movie

Ken is a Christian conservative, a lovable narcissist held together by faith and cracked ribs. Rowan is a pseudo-intellectual tree-hugger with a gift for mischief and an endless appetite for miles.

Their oil-and-water chemistry powers a cross-country documentary that is equal parts grit, heart, comedy, and revelation.

Across deserts, plains, and the Appalachians they collide with the crisis of homelessness face to face.

Join us for a short discussion following the movie.

📅 Thursday, July 16th
🕡 6:30 PM
📍 Firefly Center — 102 S Kaiser Ave, Fosston

This event is FREE as part of the Better Together Film Festival.

The HEART of Connection

Parents and kids welcome!

Then, the kids head off to do a supervised art project, while the adults enjoy a 20-minute presentation about the HEART framework (Hear, Empathy, Advocate, Recognize, Trust), you'll learn how tools for nurturing relationships can also transform your relationship with yourself.

We give everything to the children in our lives, but who is filling your cup?

Drawing on her experience as an adoptive parent, cancer survivor, and trauma-informed professional, Kathy offers a personal and practical talk that meets you where you are.
